Live Local $120, been playing 4 handed for 2 blind levels. Top three paid $600-$900-$1500. Blinds at 10-20k I have 370k chip leader has ~650k, both the other players are really short ~80k and ~120k. Blinds going up to 15-30k in one minute.

Both shortys fold to CL in SB he makes it 70k I have JJ. Villain had raised my blinds a few times when folded too, also limped and gave me one walk. I imagine his opening range is any pair, any ace, any broadway.

Should I do anything other than shove in this spot?

Spoiler:
I shove, he snap calls I'm relieved that he only has AK then k in the window

Was it his std sizing?
How active was he on the bubble?

he was switching between 3x and 3.5x. He was not overly aggressive on the bubble but he was raising a fair amount of hands.

yup. spot calls for strict 'pot control'... keep it as small as you can to get to the river... you have 5 or 6 times as many chips as the two opponents below you, one of which at least is going to bust out before you...

600 is 600 .. why settle for nada when you have such an advantage?

Yeah, def should have thought about it more, I kinda just shoved without thinking, knowing I'm well ahead of his range. I should have just tried to get to showdown, my guess is he would have shoved flop, then I would have sighed and folded. Ya I said to myself ICM suicide as I was getting up. Thanks for the help I was trying to convince myself it was just a cooler.

This is troll post OP.

It's bvb at the end of the day and I think you have FE so there is def threshold for villain's ranges after which it becomes a clear shove for us w/ JJ especially if use Betgo chip model instead of ICM.

Not 100% sure doe maybe I'm underestimating effects.

ICM is important and everything but come on, you have JJ 4 handed, get your chips in the middle.

I'm against everyone here.

Fold.

Medium stack, on the bubble 4 handed with 2 short stacks! One guy only has 4 big blinds! I definitely do not jam preflop here.

For a swing of $720, this is an easy fold. Make the money, then go for the win.

If you were short stack or close to the other short stacks, then yea shove, but you are in 2nd by 3x 3rd and 4x 4th.

I think its an easy fold.

edit:

the chips you're risking are more important then the chips you could possibly gain. The largest pay jump in this tourney is from 4th-3rd ($600) and 2nd-1st($600), so you just have to fold here.
