Hi all, the obligatory HH of a hand that got me busted is posted up here and below. So for me it was a standard play since every pot was open shoved. I mean EVERY. POT. That's to be expected for those who are used to playing these. Blinds increase every 5 mins and one player was eliminated every three seconds. I was watching the counter. Anyway, here it is.
P.S. Average stack was 8500, which is 17BB here, so you can imagine most players were open shoving, UTG only makes the range slightly wider. Feels like a hyper turbo more than a standard turbo.

Why UTG range is slightly wider? Shouldnt be tighter?

This is standard. But i would shove instead of 3bet.

But as you said if EVERY POT WAS OPEN SHOVE, why do you 3bet and call?

UPDATE* Correction - UTG range is tighter obvs, but only slightly.
Goodmary, I intended to 3bet shove flop since most calling hands like most Ax besides A9 would've called my flop jam if he called me pre. Any PP would be behind me besides 99 and KK/AA

I also have the initiative IP so if he calls I can jam any flop credibly especially bc I'm seen as tight. KQ is not an ace or a PP so I'm not open jamming into a UTG.

kinda player dependent. villain min raising off of 18bbs to a bb and btn that cover him should raise alarm bells. and the fact that you said every pot was open shoved makes it even more scarier. his min raise is essentially polarized between QQ+ or rando junk, because all other decent hands, would just open jam.

3bet is dumb and accomplishes nothing.

i have definitely folded in this spot before (given the reasoning above) just because i feel a better spot will eventuate. However, i have also 3bet jammed this spot many times. i probs lean to a fold rather than a jam nowadays.
