I agree with @RalphWaldoEmerson: I wouldn't check the flop. I'd c-bet and try to take the pot down even on a juicy board. If you get raised you call and then check-call the turn and then decide on the flop.

I'm fine with the river shove as played - the question here is what hands would villain have called preflop that they'd smooth call the flop and turn and then fold on the river? You're putting a lot of faith in a missed draw, overcards to the board or maybe something like 89, A8, even AT, but a worse two-pair is also a remote possibility, which probably pushes it over the edge. You're almost certainly not getting a set to fold and 7x, TT, 88 or even 55 are within villain's range.
