Lol, I know people hate my limping strategy. But I don't open raise these hands ever nor do I open raise anything. You just have to hope to hit and stack somebody who overplays a hand they shouldn't be overplaying.
I don't really like middle suited gappers because they aren't good short stacked unless you are extremely short-stacked and they are only good deep-stacked if you hit a straight flush. If you hit just a flush you can only win a small pot from them or lose a big one. If you hit just a straight you might lose to a larger straight so they are difficult to play. Well, I'm a pessimist by nature but these hands are difficult to stack someone with unless they overplay a monster.
nobody is going to overplay a monster in a limped pot.
the only way to stack somebody who gets married to a big hand is to call in position after they open raise from EP.
if you are the first in the pot with a hand like this and somebody behind wakes up with a big hand, they are generally going to raise you, and calling out of position is spew, so i don't think opening these hands is good whether you are raising or limping.
