Hi guys.
This is an 75€ EScoop event (flight mtt w/ 4 days 1), this is day 2 w/ aprox 50 players left, we are ITM obv.
So, what are guys think of pre?
V is a random, i think that any suited hand in this case K6s i would see a free flop, but givin that it´s offsuit and hand plays bad post, decided to raise and have iniciative (how would you guys construct ranges here?), since his limp would usually be weak.
How about vs good reg, do we always x/back and see a free flop?
Givin that said, i made what i think is a standard shove for value otr, maybe to thin?

The definition of the bet seems unimportant. I think its more important to think of hands he c/c 3 times here that you still beat and how you do vs his range that calls flop+turn and if river improved this range too much that you dont have showdown value any longer.
I dont think this river scares his better Kx/better hands and you beat most of the other combos so I would check behind.
Rest is WP, pre is good

yea i like it up till the river but this is a clear check behind.. the A is a good card for our range and should be a scare card for him so its guna shut down his calling range with worse otr..

When you bet river are you betting to get value from Q8/J8? this should be a bad run out when he holds this type of hand so hes likely folding to the third

It's about turn bet and how he perceives it.
What was his pre strat?

I like your preflop raise. You've probably got the better hand, and you need the initiative to make the most of your position.

The flop/turn bets seem reasonable.

Don't like the river shove. He opened with A2C and we haven't really narrowed his range much. We're probably ahead, but if so, it's unlikely that we get a call from him. If he's stumbled into two pair at any point, we've just made the pot much bigger than it needs to be.

Not using this hand to raise pre.

As played, I probably nit check back river. Would prefer a bigger Kx to do it with.

Pre to turn are very good, just check back the river. Against a good player and on a slightly different board it could be a standard shove for value but not in this case.

Yeah you have the best hand most of the time, but very hard for him to call 8x here and this is the top of his range you want to get value from.
If you really want to thin vbet, shoving the turn can be funny imo.

Yea I would have a polar raising range pre, therefore not including this hand. River looks too thin

I like everything, river seems really close. I'd still check back tho just to protect my stack deep in a big soft event.
