So I know this is a fairly standard spot, so forgive me in advance, but I feel like I find myself here more and more with around 20bbs or so. I pretty much always shove here, and I'm usually either crushed when called or folded to to pick up a small pot.

Is there a more optimal way to play this hand with this stack size? I can't really ever b/f and isn't calling just terrible? Just wanted your feedback on how to play this range over an open min-raise with this stack size.

Keeping this exact same hand in mind, at what BB point does min-3betting here instead of jamming become profitable? 30bbs? 35bbs? Or am I just calling the min-raise at those sizes? Is that more Read dependent?

I just feel like 3-betting and getting called OOP just sucks at any stack size, but calling can't ever be good in this spot can it?

Any thoughts on how this hand changes as the stack size gets a bit bigger?

I think if you had 30 BB's here you could 3bet to 750. Never flat calling against a CO open here

Not sure if serious. If you're image is so tight that you can't 3b/c 30bb profitably from the blinds vs a CO range then you have leaks.

You totally missed the point of the discussion. I was asking what the line is here depending on stack sizes.

With 20bbs, I think it is a shove.

I asked what changes @ 30bbs+ and how, and it was recommended to go like 5x. So my question was, if shoved on after a 5x 3bet with 30bbs, can you profitably fold, or are we committed?

And no, the pot was taken down uncontested.

BTW, I think I do have some major leaks at these stack sizes (prolly shoving too wide and maybe missing value and prolly calling shoves too wide).

Well yeah, stack depth affects things massively. The raw equity of our hand matters so much more when we are shorter and in most cases all in. When we are deeper, other types of equity that are not as easily modeled matter somewhat more.

There was a thread ages ago in which a high stakes player said 200bb deep you take your JJ and I'll take AQs and I'll win more money in the long run.

I think with these positions 3b/f with JJ is rarely going to be great especially in 2013 where people click buttons with a somewhat random factor
