A few examples from yesterday. $100 buy in down to 11 people. I've got 9-10 big blinds, playing 6 handed.

Get pockets queens, shove all in no callers.

Get AK shove all in no callers.

Table is tight, is it better to min raise and see flops potentially or maybe look more like a maniac shoving with ATC.

Let me know your thoughts!

I'd be open shoving way wider than the top 2% here.

No, just open your monsters that same as other hands by open shoving.

Not ITM, five spots get paid. I agree with shoving way wider, typically would be shoving most of my range... These large hands just happened to come up. Just wondering if there's more value in min raising to keep less premium hands in.

Even a drooler will eventually figure out you are shoving weak and min-raising strong. Pick one or the other and do it consistently.

There's one other short stack similar to me, hes on my right so I can see him act. Everyone else probably has b/w 15-30 BB. No one is super deep. So maybe it does make sense to min raise?

Your option need to be consistent, so you should to do the same thing with a big part of your range. I still prefering shove this hands with 10bb.

imo in these situations, I always look at minraise coming off as much stronger than a shove.

but I agree with either minraise everything or shove everything that youre playing

My rough rule of thumb when opening short stacked

<10 BB - Nearly always Shove
10-15BB - Mostly Shove, but might raise depending on table/hand
15BB - 20BB - Mostly raise, but might shove depending on table/hand
20BB+ - Nearly always Raise
