    BTN: 32,399 (27 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with A J
4 folds, MP3 raises to 2,570, Hero calls 2,570, BTN folds, SB calls 1,970, BB calls 1,370

    Flop: (11,630) 3 6 2 (4 players)

    River: (19,772) J (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets 5,920, SB raises to 33,395 and is all-in, Hero calls 27,475

    Over small sample:
    MP3 ~ 21/13
SB ~ 21/13/2.7 - standard bounty (half of 12.25) for his head

    Preflop and flop are probably standard;
on the turn this probably should be a fold but I thought that he could try to take this pot with worse broadways since this board was hard to hit and I had good odds so I called. Then some magic happens and I hit a jack on the river, he checks and I made a thin valuebet, hoping that some pocket pairs will call. He shoves...
This didn't make too much sense for me. Most of his range should consist of pocket pairs (maybe up to jacks if he has a low 3bet like this but it could be so small due to sample size and there's only one combo of them). Of course, he could just have had a boat but then why stop betting on the river? I look like I'm on some weak showdown value here so I won't bet too often so he loses value by checking. His shove looks strong because of bounty factor though. So I kept thinking about how weird this play is...
... wasted like 2/3 of my timebank and called.

    Spoiler:
    Results: 86,562 pot
    Final Board: 3 6 2 3 J
SB showed 5 5 and lost (-40,186 net)
    Hero showed A J and won 86,562 (46,376 net)
despite the result I still have serious doubts about this call

Looking forward to read your thoughts.

    An interesting hand!

Pre-flop, yeah I can get on board with a flat in the CO vs a HJ open, we can use worse hands to 3bet here. Agree that flop seems standard to check flop four ways.

As played on the turn, this seems pretty close. It's good that we don't hold a spade in our hand. I think calling some A high hands here is reasonable closing the action.

On the river, we face a check and go for a tiny bet which I'm not a fan of (I think I would honestly jam here). We will have a decent amount of air balls like suited broadways here which will most likely have to bluff river when checked to and by using such a small sizing, you make life quite easy for your opponent to call.

Anyway, we do bet and get raised for all of it. This isn't a fun spot, the SB is saying he has a boat most likely or a hand like A3s (33 possible too, but less likely). I imagine our range here looks like busted draws, Jxss, AJo no spade and then maybe a trapped 66. While 66 is an easy call, we probably should look to call more hands than this. AJo seems a good hand to do this with given we block some of his value hands such as A3s.
