Noticed a lot of Reg's buy in for only one bullet and will rebuy if they get knocked out in a lot of the mid-stakes rebuys (30$r and 10$r) I'm playing in regularly on WSOP.com

I'm accustomed to double buying in to maximize my chip accumulation and likelihood of taking down the tourney.

Seeing more and more reg's only single buyin though -- why?

I will single buyin if the addon is worth significantly more per chip or if I am playing above my normal stakes. Otherwise, I rebuy for the max.

My presumptions.. with both. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything peculiar.

I'll do it too when there is a significant bump in the add-on/chips/value, but not really the case in these... Once in awhile it's doubled but otherwise, it's the same as one buyin - ie 4k buyin, 4k addin, or 4.5k in some so don't see any significant edge - extra 500 chips whereas they've lost a decent amount of value at that point, but perhaps to just to outplay the fish in the most cost effective way to them I guess..
