Hero is the eff stack 18bb
We r playing 7 handed

Blinds are 300/600 50
Action Goes to CO who makes 1600 (he is opening wider than normal), BTN calls (he calls toooo much IP), SB calls (tight), and hero looks at Q6cc on BB.

Ia this a re-steal ? Atm i thought that it would be too wide to squeeze Q6s, shouldn't we re-steal Q7+ or Q8+ ?

Hero calls:
FLOP(7k): KsQs8h

Sb checks, hero checks, CO bets 1600, action goes to hero.
Are u guys calling or shoving here ? And against a bigger size?

Thanks

fold pre. This is not a great hand to be calling and playing OOP multiway with the short stack because now you've put yourself in a difficult spot post flop. As played I guess you have to call now, might shove vs this small sizing though. Any reads on the sizing CO makes here?

Was thinking about it, few hands ago he used an bigger size in a wet board where he had trips. So it could be a weak king, maybe weak fd.

yes but u dont have stack big enough to generate enough FE to fold out either weak king / weak fd imo. maybe some veeery weak fd but thats less likely. he might fold Q bcs it is a possibility with that cb sizing ( altough i dunno why some ppl are cbetting q like this but i saw it few times )

shove/call pre both options fine with me, not folding for sure.

and u gotta call now and see what happens.

Crystal clear calls pre and on the flop. Don't jam the hands in the middle of your range guys. Think of the implications.

To the guy advocating folding pre, that is beyond horrendous.
Agree with greg obv, calling pre and flop super standard.

Call pre may be OK, but it isn't a great situation playing this hand 3-way shallow. Obviously, a defend HU deeper. Here you hit and are in a tricky situation.

Call pre vs. shove pre is the more interesting discussion I'd say. It's basically the perfect dynamics with opener opening too wide, and button calling too loose.

Gotta c/c the flop.
