V is middle-aged black man, and opens UTG+1 to 20k, starting with 220k.

Hand 1, let's make it 60-65k pre? I'm all honesty your sizing at 50 seems. I don't see how you can fold that flop. Not sure what the villain would cold flat there but that flop is gold for you and you have to get it in imo. I'm a spew tard but feels you gotta get it in there. Villain can have aq, aq, a-10.

Hand 2- the bubble has burst and you have what 37-38 bbs. Let's 3 bet to 55-70k since we play oop. This hand is much easier to play post flop if he flats your 3-bet.

If you lose, bad luck not much you can do with <40 bbs and jj.

I don't see why you flat jj out of bb here. Get some chips in and build a pot.

Hand 1:

Sizing is fine, call now. Doubt hes shoving with Sets, and probably shoving QQ+ pre as is.

Hand 2:

3b pre is bad, would only 3b KK+ and very seldom bluffs.

Postflop is kind of awkward, in theory you should have more 7x/8x than an UTG+1 opener and he shouldnt be shoving flushes/higher pockets for value. I would say sigh call because he doesnt make much sense and expect to see a lot of bluffs.

Meh, just rip it in preflop. MAWG limper could get dumb, have limped AK, then shove over your 50k and you level yourself into a fold. He might do the same with 99/TT too.

50k sets up too many awkward spots and shoving seems unexploitable to me.

There is ~38k in the pot and we have 170k. If nothing else I would look to make a pot sized raise here to iso which is over half our stack, so just shove. I would shove AK/AQ/99+ most likely here. Obviously AA and KK you can potentially flat to keep in the EP limper fish or make it 50k if you think he'll limp/call those.

Winning 38k at this point is fine as it will increase our stack 22%.

What are we hoping to achieve by making it 50k? Is the intention to trap by making what looks like a scared small iso raise? If we get a flat call, then we are lost on most flops, especially to a donk shove.
