€1100 buy-in no-limit PokerStars Festival Rozvadov, Main Event, late in day 1, blinds 500/1k, ante 100 or 200.

It gets folded to me in the SB with about 20BB stack, BB had become very big stacked about half an hour to one hour before this hand. During the time that he had had a huge stack, I raise-folded twice on the button versus his 3-bets (I had weak aces both times), but in general, he hadn't been crazy-active.

I have A2s, and decide to limp (would limp my whole range of hands I want to play, so I'm uncapped, but he doesn't know that). He raises, I call.

Flop 6-6-2r. He bets 3.5k, I call (if he raised with a good ace, I am ahead now, but if I shove, he may mostly only call with better hands).

Turn is offsuit 9, I check, he puts me all-in for my remaining 13BB and a bit. I tank and finally do call, he shows T7o, river blanks and I double up.

Would you just shove A2s for 20BB here, or alternatively limp-shove? Raise-shove pre?

As played, any opinions on post-flop?

I think either option of limping and/or raising has some merit. Vs big stack and possible and aggro player I don't mind the limp at all, the problem with just calling the raise though is now you're playing OOP vs big stack with a hand in which you are capped after just calling the raise. I would lead towards shoving after he raises the limp. On the other hand if you raised we don't know whether or not villain would 3 bet, so it's hard to say what the play would be.

Shove or limp/shove are probably best, depending on how bb reacts to your limps. I can't imagine limp/call to be better than those options with A2.

Interesting, thank you. I guess I am still too much in a cash-game mindset in some spots. Would you then ever take a hand post-flop in that situation?

I mean I love postflop, but it's just hard to beat winning the blinds and antes. No antes and limp/call would be reasonable. It can still happen though if you limp/shove and it goes check behind.

Limp/shove all day giving description, I really hate limp/c here , esp with 20bb OOP.

limp/shoving or shoving are both good. Would prefer shoving unless we know that opponent likes to raise pre light and give up.
