About 35 left, ~8k up top. We have recently moved to table, raised utg, getting folds around, and called a 12bb shove from mp w AA, and held. Obv very small sample on villains..curious on our 3b range here, and if we are polarized, where we draw the line from ~value/fold, to blocker/fold or whatever. What does our overcall range 25bb eff look like here?

I just fold here, think you´re repping really thin to this sizing prolly only JJ+ into 2 somewhat tight ranges and since you could have a wide flatting range, doubt you get enough credit to get this through as villains will perceive this a dream squeeze spot for you.

Ya, this was my dilemma, if we are deep enough to overcall A9s, here, and how wide we would overcall in this spot. Like zan said earlier tho, our 3b range is ext narrow, but I really couldn't do much w my sizing, w/o really upping variance, and piling pre, and really didn't like that option, given the current dynamic

I'd prob just stick to call and shove ranges. I'd usually call this hand at this stage of the tournament. Worse AsXs are pretty close but I probably fold most of those. AT/AJ can be either or and AQ+ seems like it should be a shove mostly.

Just folding this. A9s plays poorly vs both with low spr.

yeah I really don't like the 3 bet fold option here as your stack cant afford a hit like that and unfortunately I think you made this play in the worst possible position at the table. I prefer just folding this pre and pick a better spot.

if mp1 was opening and hj flatted than it would make some sense to squeeze here,but when utg1 is opening A9s looks very weak... i would prefer we have KJo KQo QJo type of hand here or T9s or smt that plays good vs their opening ranges or has good blockers...

also 2.9x sizing is bad imo as u give guy that flatted killer odds to not fold ever, like 33k for 138k pot (roughly) and he wont fold his range EVER if he's decent... he will flat KJs KQs and shove 99 TT JJ AQ AK(in decent amount of time)
