I ve been somewhat questioning my strategy in 3x turbo MTT satelites.
ATM i m trying to get into the EPT barcelona and they got a 22€R 3x turbo MTT satelites running every day.
Usually its WTA.


single rebuy is 3000 chips, double obv 6k total then.
addon is 30000 chips.
last blind level before addon is 5000/10000 and after addon phase it restarts with 6k/12k

I usually double rebuy up to 200/400 i think and stop double rebuying at 300/600.
My question mainly refers to the stages when the blinds are so huge that even in case you would double rebuy you would only get 1 BB.

I am obv aware that the value of the satelite is highly linked to the number of rebuys you do.

The satellites run every every and i can play em almost every day.

First of all does it make sense to keep rebuying at stages of 2000/4000 in case u do loose your stack even though when u just single rebuy you get 0,75 BB when you can just play em the next day or is it unlikly anyways to get a decent enough stack before the addonphase so that you will end up rebuying a few times anyways?
I am aware that the average stack before addon is gonna be like 3-4BB.

In case you do keep single rebuying how many bullets wud you put into a single satellite before it becomes -$EV?

its a 22€Rebuy satelite and the seat is worth 5200€ one day (seat only) and 6600€ the next day (seat+hotel).

how does the value of the seat affect my decision as well?

Also i ve read in some thread a while ago that good satelite players ALWAYS only single rebuy meaning they never double rebuy, isnt the chance of gettin twice as good of a stack by double rebuying ( when you win an allin u got 12k chips instead of only a 6k stack) worth it cuz it will increase your future equity and will lower the amount of rebuys you will do ( far more likly to bust with e.g. 6k at 400/800 then with 12k.

Isn't the optimal strategy to buy in 1min before they close registration, tank every hand to make sure you don't waste a single $ and then win every flip after addon?
