Re: Official MSMTT quick checkup thread

Its an interesting spot. I dont fold QQ, so cant see how I would fold here. It seems like you should be able to ticket with amount of people remaining but folding and not getting there kind of sucks.

Re: Official MSMTT quick checkup thread

hows it interesting if you arent folding QQ? why would you even say that? theres literally no chance we make it 3 hands with 1bb and 6 spots to go. not sure why you let yourself get so low.

tbh the discussion would be more interesting if WashUrHandsPls had posted what position he's in of the 308 that's left.

Re: Official MSMTT quick checkup thread

Your position is possibly the most crucial part of the decision, as it is you're 80%+ to double which will give you almost a 100% chance of qualifying. You have 3 hands where you need 6 players to bust. I don't play these so I can't answer accurately but you need to know your position

Should I be calling or folding in this spot, seems sort of tough since this is a turbo 33r. Not many hands on anyone except the UTG raiser was a nit except he had 3bb's and the SB was spewy. Also, SB would 3/4x his big hands or just shove them. 11left, already in the money Should I be getting it in here as well?

Leaning towards a sigh fold, looks like you wanted to trap on the turn/balance range. But its one of the worst river cards. Tc+ I call but his river sizing looks strong.

thx for response guys. cicak i hate folding flop w backdoor flush draw w position and i planned on a fair bit of shenanigans on many turns but.....i turned a beauty and wanted to showdown that ***** lol, i thought i could get river value much more often than turn and river and would seriously lower the chances of me getting bluffed if i chk behind. when we bet turn is it to get one street or two streets(obv board matters)? to fold to a raise? youre calling river right cicak or cant say cus youll never take this line?

seems a fold. utg w 20 bb shouldnt be opening much wider than those stats indicate and vs 10% range 99 has 48% so we are flipping vs his open and will run into a premium hand vs btn and blinds ~12%. its close but my shortcut/lazy math says pass. i know youre asking kind of in a vacuum but the "guys behind seem reasonable at poker" made me think if you think youre a dog vs your competition i say raise and variance all over the place

      3ft of 5q.

3bettor is 24/18/18 in 50 hands. Micro-stakes reg who has good roi mostly due to shipping smth for 6k.
      Several hands ago shoved 88 with 13bigs BB-BTN. I shown A9s.

BB is unknown brazilian -- 12/12 in 17 hands. Was just moved to the table.

I was playing snug, not opening a lot at all like 15/14.
