Oaks Card Club MTT - J10s on BB

MTT $100 Buy In, Rebuy period over.

Blinds: 600/300, ante 50, about 60/80 players remain.

I'm in BB and close to the short stack with about 8000 chips.

UTG calls, two MP call, SB Complete.

History, a lot of limping, in particular the UTG. All sorts of random junk getting limped early on, but now mostly small PP, suited connectors, weak aces, etc. No-one has done the limp in with KK or AA that you sometimes see live. Most of the time the limpers all call a small raise.

The stack sizes of the limpers are about 9,000 - 15,000

I decide to push in the hope of just taking the pot right down, figuring they almost certainly don't have enough to call me, and also in the worst case if I get called, I might not be totally dead.

Spew or reasonable move?

Think push is pretty standard without reads. 8000 to win 3400 pot. Also, farly strong hand. You can get called by an underpair or ace you are flipping with. Some value in checking a playable hand in the BB.

Thanks Guys.

FWIW - I shoved, and everyone folded pretty quickly (though with some grumbling), so good result, but it got me thinking

Wanted to know what sort of range I should push here?

Also is there a raising range, with a monster? I obviously only have 13BB, so I'm guessing not, especially since a small raise would just get everyone to call.

yea don't think there's a raise range here...maybe i'm too nittish in this spot but j10 is prob the bottom of my shove range here. maybe a bit wider but close to it. interested to hear others' thoughts tho...
