NJ WSOP $100 10K GTD. Nearing the end of the rebuy period, still a couple of hours away from the money. Starting stack of 15K, and we have fluctuated from 12-20K, but never able to build a stack. Our stack is getting shorter relative to the blinds.
We have about 15K and we are the BB. Blinds are 500/1000 w/ a 100 ante. Action folds to the button who has 40-50K, who min raises. As Holdem Manager no longer works on NJ WSOP since the most recent update 6 weeks ago, I have no specific stats or read on the villain. He should be opening quite wide when it folds to him. Villain min raises to 2K, and the SB folds. We are the BB with 55, and we 3-Bet shove our final 15 BB into the pot. Villian calls with AQoffsuit, and we are off to the races. Is this anything but a shove?
As I said in your other thread. Think about his handrange. How much % is he opening from the button with that stack? 55 is a very strong hand against that range. You don't want to see a flop. What if 9TAhdd comes on the flop. You check and he cbets. What now? Only options that remains is jamming. Your 55 is a favorite by a few % against AK.
