I have no specific information about the player on BB. Check back on the flop is better than cbet imo. The only idea when i min raise his donk bet on the turn is to induce him to 3bet here. What's his range on the river and do you ever fold this?

I get it's a dry board that at lower stakes gets folds fairly often but in mid stakes this is the perfect flop to Cbet even when we're this strong because he'll be expecting us to rep the ace a huge % of the time and if he's competent will float all Ks / pairs here. I get that it's a dry board but we make more long term by betting and certainly avoid stupid river spots like the one we find ourselves in.
I also don't get the click back on the turn, we turn our hand stupidly face up, barely get extra value from anything as we fold out most made hands and give him great odds to call any draws he's picked up. so I guess when the nut card for draws gets there on the river we maybe have to fold but he could also be blocker betting 78, 75, A5, A2 with this sizing perhaps putting us on a big ace.

There are better hands to trap with, i'd just cbet and fire all 3 streets. If you check back flop then I think raising turn bet is a bit counter productive. I'd shrug call the river but I never get there this way.

Poorly played. You have to bet this flop. You're losing way too much value if you do not bet, and it looks way more suspicious to check OTF after you raised pre... What does min raising OTT accomplish? Barrel every card.

I've been folding pretty exploitably against unknown players and the flop checkback / turn minraise line, happy to see that the folds were probably good every time.

Yeah, just so many mistakes made in this hand. Checking this flop is not good. He's going to call us with all of his Ax and 7x hands as well as his 44 - 66 hands. He could also check/call with hands like KJhh where his king high may be good on this board while also having backdoor straight and flush draws. Bottom line is that with a hand as strong as ours and our opponent having plenty of combos of hands to continue, it is mandatory that we bet this flop for value.

If you're going to check the flop, it's at least good that you raised his turn lead. But, you're sizing on your turn raise is way too small. You're giving him far too good of a price to call. You're giving him over 5 to 1 to call your raise, which gives him a very easy decision to make by just calling with any and all of his drawing hands.

Yeah, we can obviously be beat by flushes and very few combos of straights, but when getting over 3 1/2 to 1 to make a call with a strong two pair hand is a pretty big mistake. I understand your thought process, but when you're being handed a price as good as this to call on the river, I believe it's a mandatory call. You only have to be right such a small percentage of the time to make this call good, so I think folding the river would be a pretty big mistake.

I guess I don't mind the check on flop (I would of definitely cbet tho), but you have to make him pay a solid premium OTT imo. Thus the Mini raise on turn I really didn't like. River I call given how you played it lol. Gizzle made a good point about the other hands in ops range as well.

C-bet.

As played I call off river. I don't expect to be good much more than 30 or 40 % of the time, but the pot odds are too good.

not folding the river, not thrilled about it, but not folding as played. REally not sure what your doing or trying to accomplish on the turn? imo, either call and let him initiative to bet a lot of rivers, or raise but make it really large.
