blinds were 20,000 40,000 5,000.

my stack is 970,000.

utg folds and i raise to 110,000 with pocket aces.
folds to the cut off and he calls and so does the bb.

pot is 390,000

flop is Q J 7 rainbow bb checks i raise 175,000
cut off man(1,300,000 in chips) calls and bb folds.

pot is 740,000

turn 7 i raise 350,000 he takes like 2 mins and calls

river is a 5 .. i check he goes all in i call(had 350,000 left) he shows JJ

i get knocked out in 47th.

how could i play this different so i don't lose all my chips??

What hand that you are beating, and that doesn't 3-bet pre-flop, are you putting him on when he calls both the pre-flop raise and the half-pot bet on the flop? AQ?

And then what hand are you thinking that he's putting you on that he thinks he's ahead of when he's really behind on the river? AJ?

He's not bluffing with air here for most of his big stack in this kind of event?

I think the problem here is that the turn bet is too big and commits you to calling his all-in on the river even though you probably think you're behind.

How about a 150,000 turn bet, which will get a call, but will not necessarily induce an all-in that you can't fold on the river?

lol u put him on exactly what? JJ? He has a variety of hands that we beat and even hands that might jam river for value (KQ AQ QJ) plus bluffs (K10 109)..

His big stack? we start the hand with 24bbs.. god u really need to stop posting on the internet..

The hand is fine i'd just shove the river myself he's never folding Qx and might hero u with Jx etc.. ul man (altho id raise smaller pre)

It's just unlucky, you played it totally fine - you're beating a hell of a lot he's taking the same line with. Although, shoving the river is better because it's takes the option away from him checking certain hands that you beat.

i would bet lil bit more on flop like 195k-215k.
Probably ch/jam turn is an option, if he is agg and could make some wrong turn bets. If there is a ch back, bet/call river.
Just UL, man.

On the turn, the pot is 740'000 and you should have 695'000 left.
Personally, I just jam here.
Any sizeable bet commits you to the pot here imo. Sometimes, I also like the turn check/jam play, because a lot of players will put in a bet here with hands that they wouldn't call a big bet with.

As played, by the river, I like the shove. Some queens that will not bet the river might call you down (->more value) and like I said above, I don't see myself folding here.
I think it is possible to fold if you have a read on your opponent's tendencies. But in most situations, this is a clear call as played.

Actually you didn't.....

Nope still didn't raise

You could fold pre because you are either going to win a small pot or lose a big one with AA

PS..You can't raise if there isn't a bet in front of you.

The only solace you can take from this hand is you didn't get coolered deeper. Just got to suck it up sometimes.
