Ladies DSE $400 BI: Just Stuff Pre?

DAY 2, 26 left, money bubble just burst.

9 handed table

Blinds 1.5k/3k, 400 ante

UTG (Vil) ~80k
UTG+1 ~20k
UTG+2 ~50k
LoJack ~180k
HiJack (HERO) ~90k
CO ~60k
Button ~80k
SB ~110k
BB ~130k

Preflop Pot Total 8.1k

UTG raises to 6.5k

Folds to hero with AKo, Hero?

My question here is regarding stack size. Should I 3bet stuff or 3bet?

I can argue both sides.

3bet shipping gets me max FE. I also always want to see a full board with AK.

3betting may take down pot pre flop. I have yet to have a 3bet of mine cold called or 4bet in this field. If I ship pre flop I'm folding out all dominated aces and getting called by hands that have me smashed or I'm flipping at best. Most importantly I have position in this hand. If called, I can cbet (~20-22k)/fold and still have a 50k stack (I expect vil to release on flop unless she hits it in which case she'll let me know either by donk shipping or k/r all in).

Payout jumps a negligible IMO until we hit FT.

i think its best to 3bet with the intentions of getting it in pre...its not bad flipping with 30 BB's to get a nice looking stack for the FT

Re: Ladies DSE $400 BI: Just Stuff Pre?

Reads:

UTG hasn't played a hand today. She spent the last 3 hours of yesterday bitching about being card dead. Obviously she doesn't play trash. She is likely somewhat positionally aware as well. Overall I would call her tight/passive. I've never seen her be the aggressor in a hand.

I'll skip the 3 ladies who folded between us.

CO just got her ass handed to her in a SB v. BB situation on the bubble. **This being germane to my image** Hand after this confrontation I opened AJo from CO to 6.5k and she shipped ~46k on top, so I folded and she has been silent (somewhat content) for the few hands dealt after this confrontation.

Button is a salty older lady who is pretty serious about playing. She just had a shortie double through her and seems a little upset at the damage to her stack. I'm expecting her to be less aggro than she was 5min ago.

SB is about a 40 y/o asian lady rocking sunglasses. Hasn't played a hand today other than checking her option when the SB open limped her BB, then folded the flop. I'm calling her another weak/tight. She's actually a huge tell box. On that note, although this is not part of the HH posted: When she looks at her hole cards she makes a face that says she has some sort of marginal decision (I take this to mean that one of my aces is dead).

BB is a 20 something French chick. I think she's a bad player. I saw her play a pretty poor hand last night where she flatted a UTG raise from the big stack w/ JJ from MP, then proceeded to raise/4bet all in on a 9 high flop. She is pretty weak/tight IMO.

I'd just wager them all preflop.

Re: Ladies DSE $400 BI: Just Stuff Pre?

I actually really like flatting and hoping to get squeezed by CO. The worst thing that could happen is someone flat behind us and we see a flop 3 or 4 ways....not the end of the world because we dominate their calling ranges.

Alternately, one of the tight/passive baddies could squeeze and we could (somewhat) safely fold. Again, not the end of the world.

Not saying that shoving or 3balling isn't good, but it doesn't scream optimal and it's certainly not exploiting anybody.
