FT bubble about 14 test subjects left to FT out of
350
V has 13k profit in 2years over >1k games
I won 2 3bet post vs him, and 1 post flop pot wher I c/r OTT with blockers that he was repping and repped a closed straight OTT.

This was his 2nd 3bet vs me one time on CO 1/1 and one time on BTN 1/3

Question is did I play it right vs him?

Icky spot, I don't see him doing this with TT- so you are either slightly ahead and racing, or way behind. I don't like it, but yeah, I think you are correct to fold.

No.

Call 3-bet for huge value if you don't want to get it in. 4b- folding value hand IP is VERY bad since 4-bets are rarely called OOP (essentially KJo is worth more as a 4b bluff since it has better blockers).

Also we need to call villains 3-bets here ridiculously wide to be even remotely balanced so its good to have great hand every now and then. Call here is at least +5bb with decent postflop play.

Hate the 4b/fold, would rather flat the 3b and play IP

Much better to 4b/fold A5os etc..

I was in few horrible spots with JJ/QQ vs couple of regs couple of days before, hence my weird play here.
agree 100% with flatting the 3bet IP.

I don't hate 4b gii just that 4b folding with our hand is bad imo.

If villain is aggressive at all I just 4b gii

+1

But with these stack sizes in these positions best line is 4bet/call IMO.

Why did you 4 bet that big? And then fold? Thats what makes this so hard to look at. I think both getting it in and calling in position are whatever vs described villian

Either 4bet and call it off or just flat the initial 3bet. I really don't like putting in 1/4 of his stack to fold to a shove, especially when he can definitely shove worse.

If im correct you need like 37% for cEV+, with some BF you need more than 40% for EV+ call here. You have it against TT+AKo so its a call for me. Anyway +1 to just flat the 3bet

What? What's the point of 4betting if you aren't prepared to play for stacks. BTN vs SB is as clicky as it gets.
