Preflop is w/e, call or 3Bet. You don't give any info about villain, tourney buy-in etc.

It looks like a classic old school "bet to see where he is" with 9x or 77. I like to mix in some leads on flops like these. It's usually with some sort of draw or strong made hand. I'd be more inclined to check-raise really strong draws and the nuts.

What was your plan if he 3Bet you on the flop? If you're happy to GII then this raise makes sense, otherwise just call because you're turning JJ into a bluff.

PF seems fine, with Jc blocker in our hand i am probably leaning more towards just x/c flop. Evaluate on turn.

As said above, depends a lot on the vil / tournament bin etc. I see both raising and calling being okay depending on the situation. GTO optimal line would prob be a mix of the two. With Jc blocker I'd lean towards a call to get value on later streets. It is also my experience that villains often cr their draws and donks are usually weaker made hands.
