Highly doubt this is a fold unless he's shoving really tight, but I'm assuming he has a 3b/c range as well which will exclude a lot of good hands from his shove range.

Can you post the stack sizes and blinds and I'll plug it into icmizer.

Simple call, I doubt its even close enough to put it in a calculator.
He is prolly wide enough that 99 equals AK in equity.

i'll run the numbers if you post the stacks and blinds please. I guess I could just choose an arbitrary blind level and multiply it by the # of bb's in op but that's too much effort

Its not that bad of an ICM spot. You are 4/5. In a vacuum this is a r/c all day. Given that your opponent has been spewy or aggressive makes it even easier. It might help if you gave him a specific range and just ran it through pokerstove. Vs a tight range I can find a fold here, randomly, but I almost never fold here.

Easy call for the reason turb posted, reasonable to assume jj+ would be in his 3b/c range.Don't blame you for making the fold at the time though.

My question is: Should we ever be 2.5xing from UTG with 24 bbs if we plan to fold to a shove?

Maybe with 35 bbs, but isn't 24 bbs just too small a stack size to be bet/folding this?
