WPT Main event Live. 6 handed.
Blinds: 50/100
Effective stacks: 30k

Previous hand: Hero opens utg+1 3x (Q9o) & Ankush defends BB. Flop: JJ32K it checks around to river and Ankush shows T5o & hero wins.

Hand in Question:
Hero opens utg (T

) to 300, Ankush 3 bets (BB) to 1.5k, Hero asks ankush why 5x & calls.

FLop: T

Ankush bets 1.5k into 3k. Hero calls.

Turn: 9

Ankush bets 5k into 6k. Hero tanks and calls.

RIver: 6

Ankush glances at the board for 5 seconds & announces 14k to dealer & throws in three 5k chips.
HERO?????

would fold otr. w/e to calling the 3b vs the sizing..he prob takes hands like 87s-65s inclusive in his range ttr, along w 66-55...would think JJ+ x ott. Not sure how many bwaycc/dd combos he empties ~200bb w
if your range otr appears something like KK-99, AKcc-AJcc, KQcc, not sure where we sigh call, maybe QQ+.

Hand 1: c bet flop

Hand 2: pre seems a bit ambitious as I think most in the BB would just flat most of their range against a UTG raise. As played folding OTR

I'd fold pre, which seems like FPS here. 5x in theory should tighten your range, and you should four-bet the top of it along with some hands to balance it. T7s doesn't seem like a good candidate for that.

As played, villain has both nuts and air in his range and you have a bluffcatcher. You need to be right about 1/3 of the time. Flip a coin on this one.

I can't really say what you should do post, because it seems you play half of the deck from any position. I mean, if you do that punt pre with T7s, gii on T65xss board then. He is not paying you off when flush hits. You have some fold equity if you check/raise and rip turn, plus a lot of outs if called. It's spewy, but since you got yourself into 3b pot with T7s oop this deep (versus 5x 3b), might as well punt it post.

^^ w/e, if you specify 6max, but if you are just equating utg=utg (6mvFR) with card removal, its not close to the same thing. A few of the earlier posts, just referencing the op as an utg open, and ranges are quite different.

ampe dude. your really far off here brah. Theres so much software out there to show you what ranges should look like for the utg seat in 6m, and every break even 50nl reg knows this stuff like the back of their hand by now. the fact that your itt spewing nonsense makes me assume that you dont have much 6m experience, and would prolly get demolished at anything past 25nl 6m
you can start by googling "optimal opening ranges for 6m"
