QQ is good enought for a 4 bet imo, i would 4 bet/ fold.
What is the tone of the board OTF?
His shove looks like a big fat steal, so with your line, i call.

i would also open 3.5-4x pre

By 4bet folding r we not turning our hand into a bluff and loosing value from the top of our range?

Can we still fold after investing almost half our stack in the pot? Assuming we 4bet to 1.2k and villain 5bet shoves, we need to call 1.8k to win 4.2k therefore 42% equity is good enough to call.

Correct me if any of my assumptions are wrong...

if you think you are getting some value by flatting pre, why hesitate vs the shove OTF?

If he 5-bets you which is done by hands that crushes you likes kings and aces, i would fold and loose half my stack yes, but better then loosing it all!

Re: Hot22$ flop overpair vs overshove bet

I used to auto 4b/c pf but I think readless flatting is ok. as played call

V's range is JJ+/AcKc/AcQc here. Vs that it's a fold but if you weigh it away from AA by taking half those combos out it becomes an easy call

Also loose pf 3 bettors would shove more flushdraws with undercards and combo draws + AT, which improves call.
