Hey guys. What would you do here with pocket 7s? 14 players remaining. 1 person need to bust for a new payjump. The guy who opened has his Sharkscope blocked. He opened several times and folded as many times to a jam. Last 4 hands he opened 2 times and folded 2 times. Earlier as well.

He joined my table when the blinds were 5k/10k so he has had enough time to get an idea of my play. Recently he saw me calling an all in from CO /w QJo. Jam or fold? Thnx

I'd fold this one. If he's smart enough to block his Sharkscope data, he's probably smart enough not to play bet-fold three times in one orbit.

It's not guaranteed, but I'd be very suspicious that he's got QQ+ and is trying to trap by trotting out an exploitable betting pattern that's not a pattern anymore.

Besides, this is the classic situation where the small stacks are so small that you need to evaluate everything vs. a modest likely reward for doing nothing.

    Thanks for you reaction RiverDood.
What do you mean by your last sentence? That there is value in doing nothing because of the likelihood another small stack will bust to make the payjump?

Basically, yes. Obviously, you don't need to pass up every opportunity -- and if everyone is playing super-tight, some enchanting new opportunities do arise. I just don't think this is one of them.

He's inducing a shove rather than inducing a fold if he shoved from the get go.
