Dear 2+2 Community
I've just been busted in a tournament. I'm in BB. Blinds are 500/1000.
Cut-off raised to 6000. SB calls. I flat with QQs. I think about re-raising. But, with two already in the pot, I decide not to inflate the pot any further.
I am looking to avoid A or K flopping. The thought of someone holding AA/KK goes through my mind, but I decide to continue.
Flop is 2-6-9. A very safe flop for me. SB checks. I check. CO bets 10,000. SB calls. I flat.
Turn is 8. Another safe flop for me. SB checks. I check. CO bets 20,000. SB calls. I only have 40,000 behind at this stage. So, I shove.
CO calls. SB calls. SB shows T5. He called off his entire stack with a gut-shot. CO shows KKs. River is another 9. I'm busto.
Was it possible for me to construct that CO or SB may have had AA/KK and fold? Or was it just a cooler?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
