Starting stack $10,000, 40 min levels 330 entries 5 hours in. Last hand before the break and the bubble should burst not long after this next break.

Blinds $500/$1000 ante $100 (9 handed)
Hero is BB with about $28,000
V1 MP with about $30,000 - has been playing solid haven't seen him get out of line yet.
V2 Button with about $70,000 - Has been playing a wide range of cards, has everyone on the table covered.

fold, fold, fold, V1 open to $3,000 MP, fold, fold, V2 calls, Hero has 9c9d calls.

Flop 7 3 2 rainbow pot is $10,400. V1 donks $4,000, V2 goes all in.

Just want to know what other people would do in this spot?

Will post results after I get some peoples comments.

What range of hands do you put the villains on?

Assuming that V1 is playing a tight aggressive style and makes it 3x from MP, I would think his range is pretty strong. Given that and the shove by the big stack, I'm not calling off my with my tourney life on the line with 99 and 25 bb in this spot.

V1 I had on a very wide range A-10+ suited AQ+ offsuit, pocket 10s - AA - I think he would of pushed with smaller pockets as he has done twice since I have been on the table.
V2 I was thinking atc. I saw him showdown with 45o from the SB.

With 1 tight player left behind, Even online this would be a fold, live it's a snap fold.

What range do you hope for? V1:88, V2:88 exactly?

There have to be better spots in a tournament, especially when you are close to the bubble...

I was thinking that V2 missed and is trying to steal the pot. I was mostly worried about V1 if he calls I think I am beat.

Don't be too results oriented. Given stack sizes, you and V2 played fine, V1 is somewhere between LOL and TILTTTTTTTTTTTTT

jam pre

as played i'm calling, V2 doesn't have any two pair combos, prob would tend to slow play his sets on such a dry board, and has been proven to be a maniac

I am liking the jam pre here as well. What range do you put the villains on, Ralph?

Can you elaborate on on jam pre? With the bubble approaching seems a bit reckless to jam 28bb into V1's open. What are we hoping he'll lay down? Are we ok with flipping?

Don't mind being unbalanced here, and sizing some of my 3b range differently. 99+ AQ+, AJs, KQs. {ATs, 88} are close, and calling a lot of Axs, pp'rs and SCs.

As played fold

don't post results so early next time. I was leaning call. Be careful with the advice you get on here. Given the description of the Villains i can definitely find a call here.

Saw the results w/o meaning to while reading through the post/replies...but even before that would agree with Ralph and shove pre. I think you're applying maximum pressure knowing that you on a bubble. All depends on how important cashing vs chipping up is to you. As played, I think I have to fold here. My gut pre reading results was 9s are behind. Oh well....fold, regroup, and go after the $

Results regardless, if you can think in ranges, w/e.

Sidepot w V2 too juicy, and if he's as wide as you say, snap and shrug when he connects with other holdings.

Exception is if he's graying and flatty pre rather than a juiced 3b at will wonder. Might still snap because waitresses.
