That seems like awful advice. Your bluffs and especially your big bluffs should have equity. There are certainly some spots where taking a cbet flop and give up turn is fine. Your bluffs should have some kind of equity to say the least, for example, it makes much sense to fire 3 with QJs on KT4 than it does with 76s.

Bluffing with 0 equity like OP has done is just spew.

I agree with Greg. Just fold when he donks the flop. Bad player like to donk bet these kind of boards with TP and even if they have 2nd or 3rd pair or some draws they will have a hard time to give it up when u raise.

U may be only in front vs his draws like 86, 8T, QT or JT but 22 is to bad in this spot. Even if u go for 3 streets just with calling.

To many scare cards to come and u are to many times behind on the flop. Raising him there is burning money. Vs these kind of players u need stronger SDV or at least some equity as Greg mentioned before.

Just fold the first time, forget about it and move onto the next hand. It was only 2BB's invested. Be grateful that he donked and saved you chips from a failed cbet.
