Hey guys,

About 120 left with roughly 60 being paid in a $100 nightly tourny on party. Do you think I butchered this hand? And comments and suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks and good luck

I agree with all this, the hand is huge spew. What was your reasoning behind the flop bet?

That's what is referred to as punting off your chips.

c/r otf seems fine, decent hand to do it with - but flatting the 3bet is def the worst option. As is leading turn.. not sure what you're expecting to happen when you lead out

I would be very contempt hearing your reasoning behind check raising bottom pair on the flop, to me that is basicly the definition of a random spazz.

Because villain will fold alot to the initial raise and even if he calls we have lots of back door equity.

There are heaps of turns that we can barrel as a bluff or with improved equity if we empty the clip as a bluff, we're going to win the hand so often.

c/ing OOP will not show a profit here

lots of backdoor equity?

c/c flop, c/c turn or just fold pre if you're gonna go crazy with a pair of 4s

Do you even know yourself if you are check raising for value or as a bluff? Check call one and happily fold turn if say the Qc peels off.

Of course we’re not raising for value. But we can still win by raising otf –getting better hands to fold and if we are ahead, by protecting what little lead we might have with bottom pair. Also.if villian calls our raise with a hand like an overpair, there are going to be lots of turns that is going to make life super hard for him to call down on and we also have a good chance of improving, we have backdoor diamonds, straights and clean 2 pair outs

Check/calling is so basic, how do you realistically expect to make profit with that line?

You lost this on the flop... If you are going to try a bluff why not donk bet flop and fold to any action? As played once they 3 bet you on the flip id let this go and I definitely don't donk bet turn if I call the 3bet. He 3bet you on the flop so obviously feels really happy with his hand.

c/c flop
if he checks back turn, be happy and play accordingly
if he doesn't, look at implied odds based on a 40% lead otr should you improve, the turn may well give you another c/c

needlessly turning hand into a bluff as played.
