borgata $230 triple play..bluff line

Borgata 230$ triple play with 200k guaranteed and 30 min levels. Ran absolutely absurd early and ran up 20k starting stack to ~115k after 5 levels. Kid to my left who seems good also just went on a heater and starts hand with about 100k. He has 3bet my opens a few times and is obviously capable but seems to respect my game/how im running.

blinds: 50/200/400

mp opens to 1100
I flat button A5hh
Kid makes it 3800 in sb
mp folds, I flat

flop: 48Jhh

kid leads 5k, I make it 12k, he thinks for a bit and makes it 28k, i flat

turn: 3x

kid snap checks. i check

river:4x

kid checks quickly again. I bet 38k

Probably not the best river to bet as the 4x takes away some of my set combos. Thoughts on line in general? Thanks

Re: borgata $230 triple play..bluff line

5b/call it off to like 53k would be fun on the flop. And it can't be too bad considering the dynamic you described. Also flatting makes the turn really awkward most of the time.

That said, I think checking back the turn takes sets out of your range a lot more than the fact that a 4 peeled on the river.

Also I kinda wanna shove the river (70k into 70k it looks like?) if we're gonna take this line. It seems pretty unlikely that he's looking to check raise you here so his range should be all bluff catchers and just hands hes gonna give up with. Also your range is pretty polarized wrt his range and I think it's GTO to jam in that exact situation.

hate to be that guy but the whole line doesn't seem worth it in a soft tourney

After thinking about it shortly after I definitly agree with this..it set up pretty good for me to jam expecially since I had him covered. Would you rather just jam turn then river?

I concur.

After all that button clicking as played I'd just jam OTF when he 3bets it.

However....

Just fold to the 3bet pre, you have bad implied odds with your hand and a capped perceived range vs someone you've described as decent with an uncapped range. Recipe for disaster.
