Big bubble of a Live Satellite SB vs BB Big bubble of a Live Satellite SB vs BB

Just played a live Satellite and like some feedback on a key hand.
We are on a huge bubble, top 6 get a ticket worth 3k, 7th gets nothing.
There were some fireworks earlier on the FT, but since we were down to 7 Action was understandably fairly tight, the bigger stacks pushing a little bit but not so much).

Blinds are 2/4. In ~ 5 Min. Blinds will go up to 4/8.

Stacks are
UTG 28
UTG+1 70
HJ 75
CU 35
BU 50
SB (Hero) 30
BB (Villain) 46

Hero is dealt A(h) 2(h)

Action folded to SB.

What are you doing in this spot? What is the correct play?

Spoiler:
Hero Raised to 8k, BB Shoved, Hero folded, BB Showed AT(s).

Ok just to give you a little bit more info:

the two previous bustouts were bad beats where A7 and AK were beaten by KJ and KQ respectively.
So the guys on the table were obviously pretty big fish and didn't care to much about the money, whereas for me it was kinda big deal.

And I did not want to get in a 55/45 All in Situation where I am at risk and very often even dominated...,i.e. it was very likely I will get called ( and then I basically am ahead of nothing and very often way behind)....

any ace bvb is strong, there is 1 stack shorter than you but only just he could easily win a pot and your the shortest at the table, now is the time to take a chance rather than waiting to be forced to gamble, and a jam pre-flop gives the most fold equity
sometimes you have to forget the money and make the correct play

R/f might be possible with a weak hand, but the donk might flat call you and it might be difficult postflop.

ok thanks for the replies.
It is really easy to say from the outside what the correct play is though.
Why this hand was a key hand? It costed me 6 and left me with 22 behind (UTG had 26 after this hand).

In the following hands I didn't pick up anything, and most hands had been opened before the action came to me.
UTG kept folding, and what was a disaster for me was that just when I camE in the BB next time, the blinds raised to 4/8.
This was the straw that brokes the camels back, as now I effectively was the short stack. The other shorty kept folding and I could not do anything more.

Second last hand was T9 off in the BB (I had 2 behind). Two people entered for 16 . The other shortstack Had 1 BB behind. I ended up folding, which correct play or not was the profitable play in this case as I would have been busted. Next hand I was All in in the SB and had T8 off, nothing there for me and I busted. If I had survived that hand, the other onewould have been All in in the ver next hand.

When folding the A2 earlier, I would have had enough to fold the last hand and let the other one bust. I understand that this is not a profitable play in the long run, but I don't play these high stakes often enough to have enough samples. Thats why I only cared about this time and securing a spot.

The other one could have won a hand, yes, but he played super tight, did not play a single hand on the entire FT...

You have to steal. Late position is really important, as less players to push through. Maybe push ATC from the SB. You probably needed to push something at some point to steal, whether or not you had a hand.

I agree, but with such a tight player, isn’t survival the main priority?

You got blinded out. You need to steal some chips to survive.
