Big $8.8, good spot to turn sdv in a bluff?
Villain is 22/9/0 (55 hands). Flop AF -1, no floats. Though, tiny sample size.
I run 18/13.
PokerStars - $8+$0.80|100/200 NL - Holdem - 9 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

Pre Flop: (525.00) Hero has J J
fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 455.00, CO calls 455.00, fold, fold, fold
Flop: (1435.00, 2 players) 3 Q 5
Hero bets 585.00, CO calls 585.00
Turn: (2605.00, 2 players) 4
Hero checks, CO bets 1,000.00, Hero calls 1,000.00
River: (4605.00, 2 players) 2
Hero bets 2,600.00
I think I`m still doing pretty well vs his turn betting range, but still it contains some Qx and he would pretty often do something different w AQ pre.
I mean, if he`s betting 88+, Qx and NFD (rarely) ott then c/c-ing otr doesn`t seems better. If I donk jam river I still can be hero-called by 99, TT and have some chance of folding weak Qx (QT-, Q9s-).

I don't see many Qx hands in is range so betting turn is prob better.
As played if you going for value then river is fine bet, if wanting to get to showdown then smaller blocker bet will work so often vs this type of player.

my main problem with it is that his float range consists of Ax and that obviously gets there.

If by gimmick you mean another person who can recognize your challenged poker abilities then yes he is.
-5 peanuts for being a dunce and -26 for the way you played this hand.

I mean another poster who has already given terrible advises just being a few days here (like 98s is an unexploitable jam for ~20bb and others) and who`s also dumb enough to behave like a child, criticizing everything and everyone, what he doesn`t like and who doesn`t agree with him.
That`s why I thought it maybe your gimmick.
EDIT: And about my abilities, yes of course, I`m not saying I`m the best here -- that`s actually why I`m here, unlike some others, who are full of #narcissism.
