I think i would induce and call a shove there with AJ vs someone who is good. Also i dont mind shoving there but i think our hand is way to good to jam.

Why is the shove better? Do we mind variance here, I mean it's still a long way to go.

When you make an allin 3bet you will realise your equity when called. Conversely, when you make a non all in 3bet and get flatted, you will not realise that in a sense where you will lose some % of the time post flop. I'd argue the amount you win by making an all in 3bet (the pot won when he folds + the % we get out of the pot when called) will > Making a non all in 3bet.

Thx guys. I jammed. But what would be my shove range here and 3bet range with this V?

Interesting.

Would never thought about induce and call with AJ, do you think a good player will shove worse?

he`s opening HJ, I just doubt putting 25bb is +ev there generally.
I don`t love 3b/f either, but just saying its viable and I would prefer it ahead of shove at this stack depth.
Don`t think he would flat our 3bet often at this spot and when we would get flatted I think we`ll do pretty fine with our std postflop approach for such spots vs specific villain`s range.

I think the potential issue is we could fold "flips" when he 4bet jams (hands like 99,TT, maybe even KQ) and yes the wider he 4bet jams the more disastarous 3b/f looks compared to 3bet shove.
But point is given positions and lack of dynamics I wouldn`t expect tight reg to 4bet us like rabid.

At any rate, if he`ll 4bet a lot then its good for him, since I still would prefer 3b/c w/ AQ+ to 3bet shove thus having 3b/f range benefits our ev of 3b/c vs people who are quick to make judgements of opp`s tendencies.

I can't imagine someone running 14/11/2.7 is going to be 4b shoving worse than AJ, esp against someone who 3b with a 24 BB stack. Think I'm on board with shoving here.

Do some calculations bro. 3bet shove nets loads.

I get +0.2bb vs 14.5% opening range and favourable to our hand calling range (6.2%).
