i was sweating a friend via skype play deep in some mtts and this hand happened i would love to hear youre thoughts on....

SB 60x, hero 14x

he opens HJ with KJss and gets snap called by the SB(good reg)

Flop- Qh Qs 7s (pot - 6x)
check,check

Turn- 9s (pot - 6x)
check, hero bets 2x, villain calls

River- 9h (pot - 10x)
villain leads 5x....? .....*this bet was for half of our stack

...he checked back flop because villain is kind of trap and Qx heavy when he snap flats the SB vs our shallow stack open

...turn is standard VB but river got weird when he lead...

...we only had 3seconds of time bank but couldnt find any logical hands for this line....AA made the most sense and so did KQ/QJ to a smaller degree because of the turn c/c...also 109s and 89s maybe

...what were his bluffs for this line??? the counterfeited small pairs are prob not in his pre flop range?

so since we couldnt think of any bluffs that get to river like this he ended up making us fold a flush with 14x to start the hand witch was realy weird and felt dirty, so thats why im posting here hoping theres something we overlooked?

*no particular reads on villain except that he has nice results and earlier he checked back flop with J10 on JJ9, btn vs bb

Does 14X mean 14BB's? If so, I am jamming pre.

I think I would call as played, but what his range should be here, really depends on what stack he flatted off pre flop.

yes, x is bb

hero had 14bbs and villain had 60bbs

what bluffs can we expect to see when we call, given he snap called SB vs our 14bb open?

jaming pre sounds interesting...

the biggest concern was AA, since he could be going for value/blocker betting on river with that i guess

I think AA would probably 3 bet pre considering your stack size and your open, I would tend to discount AA here. I also like the jam pre. As played it's a tough spot even harder with only 3 seconds in the time bank, I guess I sigh call

you say you discount AA but you would call...

if he doesnt have AA and KK some of the time...we are purely bluff catching

what bluffs can we expect to see vs his line?

good point, but I do see some air (or thin value hands) leading out here trying to steal the pot as the 9 OTR is a good card to bluff on and we are also beating some smaller flushes

KJs@14bb is a standard jam from anywhere - call river since we are super capped.

sure he would lead a 9 if he had air....but what air hand calls sb, the c/c turn to lead river?
its hard for him to have one spade hands since he is usually suited here...plus he usually leads turn with the few one spade combos he potentially has
i guess he has air a non zero amount...but it would be a kamikaze play on all streets then and something i see very rarely from regulars

what hands are going for thin value with his line and we have beat? that makes no sense to me...just AA like i said

*i guess maybe hand like 10Jdd
