if that's the case you don't have to act immediately, but don't tank for two minutes. it's genuinely annoying and not very different at all from a slow-roll.
I understand where you are coming from, I only thought for less than a minute on the river, and it was him who took two minutes to call. I am trying to represent that he puts me in a tough spot, I may have missed all my draws, and now I'm thinking about if shoving would get him to believe this is the case, and call.
Is there something I can do that is "less Hollywood" but still gets me the same action?
I'm genuinely trying to learn more about my game and the game of poker and I'm open minded to all answers.
