Pre Flop: (pot: 2.5 BB) Hero has Q A

UTG raises to 2 BB, Hero calls 2 BB, MP raises to 6.25 BB, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero ?

villain is tagish and not very loose on 3bets. I was pretty sure he didn't try anything weird here and even think that AK and QQ would be probably be a shove pre for him so that has to be a fold right?

This is a must fold. Villain is pot committed and your equity against his range is low.

Kind of leak to think you have to fold or 3bet AQ utg.
Fine to fold as played.

well I think both folding and 3betting are a lot better than flatting from this position vs this specific villain. only nice thing about flatting is that guys behind seem pretty passive, but most of time there would be a choo choo train comming on and we would be playing AQo oop vs more than 2 players.

OP should type what tournament this is or buyin at least so we could have some kind of insight for the field. If its less than 30$ buyin im definetly not flatting.

Sound distorted we would prefer to 3bet tight utg player w/ shorties behind rather than flatcall.
It's probably based on your early experience when you split ranges hard and your "weaker" calling range got squeezed pre a lot or you got caught in some bad postflop multiway spots which hasn't passed unnoticed and was named as "bad play" you have to get rid of by your inexperienced perception.

Multiway is fine to play w AQ and they can't really flat tons w/ shorties on blinds.
But vs some ORs on some tables folding might be best yeah.

that makes sense, and i am unexpirienced actually..im playing like abi 15 so havent worked so hard on these situations. i dont have a lot of flatting range UTG2 vs UTG1 actually except in specific spots. would like to know more about the case.

i here expect OR to fold AQ / 99/TT(in some % TT) vs 3bet so thats why im advocating it ( played/play decent number of tournaments on 888 so i know basic tendencies, u will never see guy like this 4b shove AQ or 99 here )
