$225 buy in, $100 bounty, 6 handed, 12 left, final table at 10 left. top 7 pays.

blinds 3k/6k, no antes

villain: a couple orbits ago hero shoved around 10 BBs with AQ, villain called with KK and doubled up. previous hand villain r/f pre small pocket pair to the big stack at the table.

hero had been shoving and stealing blinds more than others at the table.

Hero on button now with AJo (35k), villain raises to 14k (covers) from cutoff. I figure this is a snap shove but i'd like to see some other thoughts on it, haven't played tournaments in awhile and still shaking off the rust. Thanks.

Yup snap shove. Your all in will get called by his whole range, but you are way ahead of his range.

Need info on what kind of stacks villain is raising. What are the bb counts for SB and BB ? Also not even sure how many blinds does the vilain have to be honest

If Im right in my assumption that hes at like 9bbs? Then its a std reshove

SB is big stack, 30+ bbs, BB is about my size. Villain had 9-12 bbs.

Agree that this is snap-shove.

disagree...if villain is min raising with 9bbs-12bbs we aren't ahead of much..am folding this.. don't think AJ will be doing so great against villains min range here ..i would feel better about AJ if villain shoved instead of min.

It's conceivable he's doing the old raise not push with AA or KK, but in my experience, there are a heck of a lot of people live who would not consider 9bbs an auto push/fold decision and even more who would not dream of pushing as much as a whopping 12bbs to open ever. A couple of months ago, I did a 15bb push from late position in a live $125 tournament, and people thought I was totally off my trolly.

People in live do stupid stuff, I've seen people open 3x/fold from an 8bb stack before.

We're down to 6bb and likely aren't gonna get much of a better spot than this.
