8R Final Table with JJ

I've been somewhat active at this final table. Original shover is an 18/13 decent tag with 8.7% 3b. Overcaller is a 31/19 fish who snap isoed.

I have a big edge on the table. Payouts are flat (1kish for 6th and 4k for 1st).

FWIW JJ has 36.86% vs {22+, A9s+, JTs+, ATo/KQ) and {TT/AQ} so this looks like an ICM fold esp when given the snap iso? The tighter the original reshover's range too, the thinner this is.

They both obviously had worse so fml.

Re: 8R Final Table with JJ

dont think a decent tag reshoves that wide on an EP raiser. as you will be playing a side pot against the stronger range from SB and considering ICM i think its a fold.

a snap iso from a bad player there usually isnt AA or KK tho (imo), i think he might hollywood at least a couple seconds. looks more like AK or TT but still that is just a vague assumption.

Re: 8R Final Table with JJ

Loose fish don't usually snap iso with anything JJ is ahead of.

This used to be a swearing fold for me, but now it's just closer to a regular fold. I'd feel pretty confident letting this one go.

one thing i have noticed (it's a bit of a general comment) than snap iso's are generally very strong.

Re: 8R Final Table with JJ

if our position was later I would disagree but given where we opened from I am cool with the fold.
