So it's the last 2 tables Heros stacks a little under average and I am only concerned about making a top 3 finish. How wide do we ship? Heros Image is semi lag with 11% 3 bet.

Villains running 16/12 with 100% fold to 3 bet 6/6

Does that make 3b/f a viable choice given we know he is only getting in say 99+ AQs

Raising a bunch of hands during the next couple of orbits against random 5q donks >>>> this.

Recently made the switch to live/MTTs, so if there's a huge diff online, I apologize...

Wouldn't 3b/f to 175-180k do the same thing here, given his stats? He looks like he's going to either fold or push, and not flat the 3bet, and if he pushes you're pretty much 27-30% vs his entire range, and will be getting around a little worse than 2/1, so you can fold.

I may be discounting his likelyhood to push something like KQ over top, but this doesn't seem like that sort of player.

I think given your reads on this villain you can 3bet fairly smallish (160-200k) and fold. It's the perfect hand to 3bet fold because of the blockers and the fact it's dead against a 4bet shove range.

Also, if you do 3bet fold you still have 20bigs and given your skill advantage you can make it work for you.

    Btw I love this tournament!

Seems bad to me without good reads and marginal at best, unless he's opening stupid wide, which obviously is not the case. Also 3bet/folding is unnecessary FPS, in other words, spew.

Let's forget the fact that you're reshoving 25bbs with utter garbage. So the guy has somehow managed to fold vs every 3bet so far and you have a blocker, but blockers mean very little, and your sample size of him folding to all 6 3bets is not only tiny, but extremely vauge.

Like what does this really tell you about his 25bb HJ opens at this stage of the tournament?

What range are you giving to a tight, possibly scared player, with 25bigs, for opening with 2 shortys and 2 bigger stacks behind this deep?

I like the fact you're only thinking about making top money, but you need villian to be raise/folding about 70% of the time here, maybe even more.

You're better off just hoping it folds to you next hand so you can shove any 2 cards.

seems awful. If he's only 4betting 99+/AQ and folding the rest then easy 3b/f, default just fold

    180/f seems fine

I agree with this and others saying the same thing.
