$5 2R1A - 2 tables left

I'm sitting 6 out 17 in a field of 3k runners left and people are not going ape****. UTG opens and has not opened yet and I 3-bet. UTG is a winning players over 1.5k tourneys. Pretty solid reg (at these stakes) in the BB tanks and cold 4-bets. Does not seem spazzy. What's your play?

UTG+2 raises to 80,000, 4 folds, Hero raises to 200,000, SB folds, BB raises to 444,550, 1 fold, hero?

As played, shove.

Given read on UTG I'd prefer flatting preflop to keep him in with AQ,AJ, also gives the SB with 16bbs a chance to squeeze. Not to mention he no one would ever be able to put you on AK plus you have position so u can control everything postflop.

Actually, a decent villain knows that you are strong since making a committing 3bet over a 22bb utg+2 open. This, added with the point that he is oop are signs of real strength. I'd say this is one of the few spots where you could lay down AK. You have still a healthy stack left. Certainly, jamming is fine, but kindof leaning towards the nit fold.

Oh, and please do not flat.

i don't pokerstove but what's AKs against a range of TT-AA? i don't think it justifies. yeah, kinda look like one of the few spots where fold>shove.

What's UTGs image? What's your image? Does BB know who you are? Is he capable of cold 4 betting light?
Whithout aggro dynamic AND with a nitty/straightforward BB it's a crying fold, but if BB knows you I lean to a jam ...

Re: $5 2R1A - 2 tables left

Seems like one of the few spots where you can fold AK.

This deep nobody cold 4bets in a $5 tourney as a move. Especially to this size where he is begging you to call. BB also still has to worry about the UTG player. I doubt that he has TT-JJ or AK in his range .. with those hands he is probably scared himself and either just flats or shoves.

I think BB shows up with 70% QQ+, 25% TT-JJ, AK and 5% some sick move

I also just flat pre btw. You want to keep weaker hands in (nobody is giving you action with AJ, AQ or KQ once you 3bet an UTG raiser) and give people behind you a chance to squeeze.
