Single day tournament 270+ runners. Field is a mix of rec players and the odd tourney grinder.
Hands occur during level 9 (30m levels): 600/1200/200
Average stack is ~35k (m ~10)
Hero starts with 40k, V has 9.7k.
V has been on the table for around 2 levels and has been pretty quiet. Hero has been card dead for these levels barring a cpl of hands where we raised and took it down so we should have a tight image as well.

Hand1:
V jams UTG for 9.7k
Folds to hero in CO and we call with KQcc
(There is 3600 in the pot to start and V jams 8 bb . We put him on 22+,A2s+,A8o+,suited broadways which gives us 44% equity. We call since we have the odds(9.7 out of 23k is 44%) . We do not shove all in as the Button and a
sb are passive players who are unlikely to reshove light bb is short stacked ~18k and we are prepared to call it off if he reshoves.

Hand 2:

Hero has 28k and opens AQo UTG+1 to 3000.
Folds to V in CO who raises to 7200 leaving 13k behind.
Hero? Pot is 13.8k and it's 4.2k more to call. If we call pot is 18k and V should be shoving his 13k anyway. So options are
1. Shove all in. We risk 17.2k to win 26k needing 39% equity to call.
V range is pretty strong here, but how strong.
Range 1: QQ+, AK 24%
Range 2: TT+, AQs,AK:31%
Range 3: 88+,AQ+: 36%
Thoughts on ranges ? Too tight, too loose?
2. Fold ... Because we probably don't have the odds and will have only 8k left if we call and lose.
3. Call the 4.2k and call off on A or Q flops.we are getting better than 3:1 to call preflop.

Hand 1 seems ambitious. You're not doing well three way and ranges are tighter than you think.

Hand 2 ok gii I'd go with range #3.
