$365 MSPT regional - on stone bubble, top-45 paid. Playing 8 handed. Think I have the stacks right, wrote it down but my writing is bad sometimes.

Hand: As8s
Blinds: 3K/6K/1K ante
Position: SB

Note - BB is a player with some excellent results but had not played much with him. BTN was a good player who grinds tournament circuits, who I consider to be somewhat LAG not but outrageously so.

Preflop
BTN (240K) calls 6K, SB/Hero (160K) calls 6K, BB (270K) raises to 20K, BTN folds, Hero calls 20K

Flop (48K): 8c 7s 6d

Hero checks, BB bets 20K, Hero ???

Notes:
  • BB and BTN are excellent players with numerous good results.
  • Since I generally play 100% limp strategy out of the SB in blind vs. blind situations anyway (with the idea I limp-raise a balanced range), I elected to do so even facing a button limp.
  • SPR is 2.9

I really had no idea what to do in this spot with the stack sizes and bubble dynamic. If we were deep this is a pretty clear call. If there wasn't major ICM pressure I wouldn't be averse to 3b/gii considering we're only 26BB deep and our SPR is borderline.
