My friend and I have been talking about this hand that was recently played at a $360 satellite in which 1/8 get seat to $2500 HPT main event.

~14 people left, 7 get a seat, a few monster stacks, about 4 stacks shorter than hero. Hero only has about 6 or 7 BB's. Avg stack is probably between 25-35 BBs
~Villain with about 9 BB's shoves from UTG
~Folded to Hero
~Hero wakes up to KQs. Hero?

+cev call vs wider range and ~break even vs tighter range but in satellite it seems like a close fold given you have just 7bb.

Surely +cev is important given top heavy pay out and stack distribution.

Yeah but still it's a satellite where all prizes are equal so I think it's more about surviving.
We don't know his utg range but clearly it will have lots of Ax and pairs and questionable amount of hands we dominate.

Just steal and don't call off unless you have a big hand. This is a satellite. Payouts are not top heavy at all.
