30$ AA linecheck against good reg
Hi,
that's pokerstars.fr, deepstack structure weekly 30e.
don't have lots of reads (I only have 5 hands on vilain) but I have him marked good reg, plays higher ABI than me.
He sees me random I guess.
didn't really like my line afterwards, can someone correct plz? could turn be a check raise?a c/f against very good players? was a bit lost in this one.

Why is it when you have an ace and another ace you choose a sizing that means we can't get stacks in on 3 streets?

Re: 30$ AA linecheck against good reg
Flop bet: 29K
Turn bet: 47K
River: ...
crying c/c or c/f (depends on sizing): flush hits, 67, sets and some connectors... I would flip a coin
Rarely should c/r turn cuz there are many hands that are drawing and check back?

His sizing otr seems pretty valueish but your small bet could have induced him to turn a pair into a bluff. Against a good player who is capable of doing this its an easy call with those odds you get.

who says we cant get stacks in with OPs sizing?
we are inducing a bluffraise/semibluffraise on K54
i'd go slightly larger OTT, like 55% pot, or check/r it to let him bet his floats or vbet his worse made hands.
as played folding river and feeling stupid.

I'd call river. Our hand looks so weak.

Re: 30$ AA linecheck against good reg
2.15ish raise pre fairly standard but i tend to raise bigger (regardless of position and regardless of hand) maybe 17,000-17,500
and id bet more than 50% of pot on flop
if the K wasn't a heart and the 4 was a heart i might check the turn but on this board i think i am firing turn 75% of the time, pot controlling/inducing bluff 25% of the time, especially if i am currently seen as a one barrel player, and check calling the river at least 50% of the time.

Re: 30$ AA linecheck against good reg
I would size is for a rivershove.
As played I Think C/C is the nut worst option OTR. All draws got there and its a nasty board to valuebet anything we beat. Id be more inclined to C/F

pretty sure, c/f is better than c/c on the river.
Edit: Actually, I'm 100% sure.

Re: 30$ AA linecheck against good reg
more on turn, more on river. i'm really tempted to call now because our river bet just screams "please just call..."
check/call river is not good.

Re: 30$ AA linecheck against good reg
I think sizing is fine.
You have him marked as a good player, a good player shouldnt be calling flush draws on the turn (unless he thinks he is going to get your whole stack on the river) so when some mentioned the x/r on the turn i like this idea.
When he gets to the river he is going to have Kx hands along with those A high flush draws but we cant get any value from them if we bet.
On the river, i think you should check fold. When you check the river he wont be value betting pairs of Ks (he should check them back), has no bluff combos and will be value betting flushes only. This allows you to play perfectly.
