250 live: a simple preflop spot against a not so simple Indian man...need a calling range

$150+$100 add on 150k two day tournament at the Bike. 10k chips to start plust 10k for the add on, 30 minute levels for the first four levels then 20 minutes after that. The tournament levels out and gets quite shallow very quickly. I had just won a five way all in with quad kings an orbit earlier. I also had been caught showing down jack high a few hands after that.

Villain is a 50 something, mildly insane Indian man. He is congenial, somewhat funny and for the most part, has not played that terribly, which is shocking. He has also shown down 102 and 56o after opening and flatting oop however.

Hand in question: blinds are 500/1000/100. Villain has approximately 42k to start the hand. Hero has 55k. Hero is in the CO and opens to 2200 with xx Folds to Villain in big blind who looks at his hand and snap says "I like the way you play, I'm all in." What is our calling range? We aren't close to the bubble, (120 left or so). 33 make the money, 20 make day two.

Hard to answer not being at the table and you can't go wrong with JJ+ AK but sometimes AQ TT

he has given you a complement and then shown aggression towards you. the question is the way he said his speach, if it meant as a sort of statement that he doesn't know what you have and this is why he likes the way you play as a genuine statement of dissbelief if this is the case you could call jj+AK because he has ak himself alot (a hand he isn't to sure about but cant reach another conclusion). however because he snap said it and has put 42k in the pot a 19x raise I think he is giving you a positive complement so you are more likely to give him action, I might only call aa kk here, he seems loose but this is a massive raise you need 46% winning chances which is terrible

I understand that the speech narrows his range quite a bit...usually, however he has been fairly splashy and active, though not necessarily as the aggressor.

yes he has been calling alot but here he has put in a massive overraise he sounds like a amature who got excited and wants to double up(cus if he had the nuts and could play he would make it 6k, and if he had a bluff he would have thought about it a little before raising), the question is what he percieves the nuts to be vrs you, if he overplays hands and thinks jj is a massive hand vrs you then you can call more(quite rare for fish to do that but I have seen it, anyone with afew hands under their belt would have to pause and think before they raise with jj). main reason to fold more is the shear size of the raise. I Guess you folded in the hand, I think thats a good move. What did you lay down

I folded tens, which was a fairly easy fold for me. While this is towards the top of my range, I still thought he was nutted. I was easily the most active player at the table (post ante) and thought that people would start playing back at me a little wider which made me a little hesitant to fold at first.
