Sund Mini Million ITM: 170 left, QQ early position, is this the right play? Sund Mini Million ITM: 170 left, QQ early position, is this the right play?

Hello,

Yesterday I played the Sunday mini million on Pokerstars. In this particular situation there only 160 players left and I had a good stack size (33th or something). First price was $25k.

Moments before the break I had QQ early position. I opened it 2.1x. Then this guy calls with a big stack UTG+3. He is kind of reg with aprox. $26k profit.

The main question is: did I played it right?

I think the bet sizing on the flop was fine. I'm not sure about the turn though. Because of the 10 of clubs (3 clubs on deck) I checked/ called a 45% pot bet.
Alltough I played it fine, I would like to know your opinions. I was a little bid shocked when I saw his hand.

Thanks in advance.

My bet was 42% of the pot on the flop. You would go 52/55%? Or more, like 62%? Off course in this particular situation it would have worked. But why bet bigger? To get value of A7s, 6's, 8s, and 10s?

The peel by the villain is pretty disgusting. Maybe he thought he could get you off the hand if a club hits the turn?

I'd bet around 55-60% OTF as hands you want value from like 88, A7s won't fold to this sizing and it also makes him pay more if he has a draw.

Bet the turn. It's already a nice pot if you take it down here and if you get raised its an easy fold, as you are likely drawing dead.

Well all I know about this villain is what the OP said, so it's hard to say. Surely the standard play is to c bet when readless.

What range are you giving him to make you think this is a flop check?

That doesnt mean we need to check our whole range. We have a huge range advantage, we can get value from overpairs, 7x, AJ-AK, flush draws etc (even stupid floats like this one) and letting villain realize his equity for free especially with Ax is bad imo. I think this is a pretty clear bet, but u know better naf

Villains range should be tight so it seems optimistic to go for 3 streets.
Although QQ needs some protection it will be hard to play some runouts and realize equity in a bloated pot.

    So I got curious....
If we open ~11% our strat goes from cbettting range (vs wide 7% flatting range) to checking range (vs tight range w/ traps)

and vs just tight 3% capped range we`re close to be 50/50 wrt equity and our cbet strat looks like this:

where we check 20-30% of our KK-QQ (w/ slight preference to non-club combos)
