$22 A9o EP w/ 13bb, shove spot?
Not sure if this is a standard shove or fold. Table has been pretty standard, not too loose, not too tight.
32 players remaining, im 29th in chips, 18 pay.

Re: $22 A9o EP w/ 13bb, shove spot?
u still can find a space for fold here, but again if the table dynamics is little thighter i'll decide to push here. i dont know how your opponents are able to light call here cose u have whole table behind u waiting to act.and i dont know if u were tight or u were pushing a lot in previous hand's.

A10o+/A9s+/33+/KQ/K9s+/ and sc's 910s+ = proper shove range.

Re: $22 A9o EP w/ 13bb, shove spot?
shoved in almost identical circumstances in WSOP event this year, called by AQ in BB and busted.
this did get me thinking.
is AJ- ever worth shoving in this situation? considering the calling ranges of V's in most mtt's, isn't it more correct to widen the non-Ax portion of our range and tighten Ax part - even to something ludicrously tight?
i figure you guys have crunched numbers on this forever, but are correct ranges being dictated by the top x% calculations we typically make in sngwiz/stove etc - rather than mapping out the hands that actually play best against the expecting calling ranges of opponents?
e.g. K8o/55 better than AT, even though they sit lower in the % tree.
or does the added FE of an A blocker outweigh the increased equity of two live cards when called?
just wondering...

Re: $22 A9o EP w/ 13bb, shove spot?
If anyone agrees that shoving k8 off is better than shoving a 10 off, I am going to kill myself.
Op, I would fold, to early of position, one seat to the left it is pry a shove, two seats to left and it's snap shove. 29 of 32 does give us the added incentive to widen up a bit
