Vilain is an unkown reg. He has been super lag over the first 40 hands ( something like 45/30 and 35 rfi)

I would call 22-77 pf and play flops but I plan to call a 4bet shove with 88. Is it bad? Should I 3bet bigger? Advice on every street would be appreciated.

IŽd just jam rather than 3bet. Will 3bet a more polar range here but against this villain I like ripping pre 6 handed, he will call a lot and put pressure on different texture.
Against someone tighter my default would be to just flat.

Yeah I considered shoving but 34bb felt a bit much. It may be best vs this profile though.

I think I just flat call pre here, and without trying to be too hindsight driven. This is exactly the problem you end up with 3-betting. Even with the initiative you're OOP, in a bloated pit with a lot of flops that are not going to be nice to you. He'll often float you in position and then put you to the sword on the turn.

As played now, who knows? I think I probably just let it go.

45/30 is an average from all position. This looks like a flat to me.

Your points make sense. I rep quite strong when I 3bet though, he cant just float that many flops and bluff turn when checked too. My 3b range is gonna happily gii on a lot of boards imo. Axx is pretty bad though obv, I call a lot of my Ax combos pf so he has way more Ax than me.

Yeah, I get that even if he looks very LAG it's still an UTG open. I see the merit in flatting. Would you call 99 too? AQ? and 3bet TT+/AK?

Thanks for the answers guys, appreciate it.

AQ+ 99+ seems a decent 3bet range vs him. I think I might go a shade bigger though(2800).

I also dont like 3bet very much but wait Zan you want to rip 35bb vs UTG?
Is it profitable (guess 0.5-1bb ev region) and I think regs will play well vs jam.

Its 6 handed, he prolly has a very high rfi utg also, so I doubt by flatting you realize more EV than jamming.
But as i said earlier, against opening normal frequencies ill just flat.
