OK this my first post so bare with me.

Villain is "competent and aggressive" so I think we can assume pairs 99+, AJ-AK he raises pre. Of the remaining pairs he can have (22-88). I would think that 66 and 77 would all check river so those should be out. That leaves 22, 33, 44, 55, and 88 for the pairs.

Then there is his random junk; any 3, any 2 diamonds, a5, 56, 84, maybe 8x hands, maybe 5x hands (which maybe i shouldn't include, if he can shove these he can shove 66 and 77 too).

Your equity vs. that range is: 84%

It's 3600 to win 7500 (48%). Clearly with this range for your opponent you win this hand more than 48% of the time so it should be a call and a "nh" if you're beat.

If you think his range is tighter than this then let me know.

Thanks.

I don't think you can fold this although it seems tough for villain to have bluffs. Also since it limped around pre villain can have 23 and 34 in addition to sets that rivered a boat.

I would call but I'm curious to see if anyone thinks this should be a fold.
